Welcome to Denholm Primary School reopened for pupils on Wednesday 15/10/08. This followed a successful move back from St Margaret's in Hawick, and the official handing over of the keys to the new school. The new school is on the site of the previous
school, by the village green in the beautiful rural setting of Denholm in the
Scottish Borders. Denholm is one of the most up-to-date schools in At the centre of the new school is the Murray library built in the round. The classrooms fan out from the library and are light and airy, ideal environments for our children to learn. The children's playground includes ample space for games and there is also a small woodland as part of the school's grounds. Our vision for Denholm School is to meet the needs of all the pupils, staff and parents in the most effective way through a supportive, inclusive and positive ethos. The contents of this website we hope will illustrate the strong community of children, staff and parents who have created the warm, friendly atmosphere for which the school is known, and give a sense of why the school enjoys a high reputation as a leader of learning in the area. |
